Vision of Peace: When the sad and ugly events of Charlottesville unfolded a few weeks ago, I remembered this little song I learned in Sunday school back in the 1950's. It has since stuck in my head like a mantra against hatred and racism. The irony is that the church where I learned this little song was located across the street from a new fancy neighborhood that had an entrance sign that read "Welcome to Innis Arden, a restricted residential community". Thank goodness ,that sign is long gone! We can only unite for peace if we leave old attitudes and hypocrisy behind us.
